19 Weeks Pregnant - Signs of Pregnancy
Mother
At 19 weeks pregnant, as your hormones change, you may notice any freckles or moles darkening and you may even develop darkened patches of skin known as chloasma.
You may also notice a line appearing between your pubic bone and navel which is called the linea nigra.
These darkened areas usually fade in the months after the birth! Your hair may also change texture and you may lose less hair meaning that your hair looks thicker and shinier than normal.
Baby
Your baby is much more aware of noises going on within your body and his other senses are also developing rapidly. As yet he is unlikely to be aware of outside noises, but one of the first sounds he recognises is the sound of mum's voice! In girls the uterus and fallopian tubes are in place and boys have distinct genitals.
