23 Weeks Pregnant - Signs of Pregnancy
Mother
From 23 weeks pregnant you may become increasingly aware of harmless tightenings of the womb, known as Braxton Hicks contractions. These are simply practice contractions and it's even thought they help prepare the baby for the experience of childbirth.
However, if you experience painful or frequent contractions or any bleeding you should see you GP or midwife straight away.
Baby
Your baby can hear and is now much more aware of sounds outside the womb. His eyes are almost fully formed.
