25 Weeks Pregnant - Signs of Pregnancy

From 25 weeks pregnant you may start to develop varicose veins. Try to avoid standing for long periods of time and when possible rest with your legs raised, perhaps on a few pillows, above the level of your heart. 

Baby

Your baby may weigh around 1lb now and he is starting to plump out as more fat forms under his skin. As his spine begins to develop it will protect his spinal cord. His lungs continue to mature with the development of blood vessels and his nostrils will open this week. He can now curl his hands to make a fist and has a stronger grasp, often gripping his own umbilical cord!
