Baby Loss Poems

Sadly, not all pregnancies end with the birth of a healthy baby. In some cases parents-to-be lose their baby before birth due to miscarriage or stillbirth. Or sometimes the baby dies soon after birth due to prematurity, serious health problems or cotdeath.

It's difficult to ever get over the loss of a baby but sometimes writing down your feelings or memories can help you come to terms with what has happened whilst also offering a permanent reminder of the love you felt for the baby.

Baby loss poems can sometimes help parents through what is a very difficult time by helping them relate to other peoples' experiences or just helping them acknowledge the emotions they are feeling. The following pages offer some examples of such poetry.

If you would like to recommend some baby loss poems or stories or contribute one of your own, please contact us and we'll add them here. Thanks.
