Baby Shower Invitations - Who to Invite to the Party!
Baby shower invitations are an extremely important part of the whole baby showers industry. If you're the one in charge of organising a baby shower you need to sort out just how many guests to invite, who is on your list and how to go about inviting them. Not an easy task!
First thing you need to concentrate on is who exactly you think the expectant parents would like to see at their baby shower. Should you just invite family, or should you be inviting work colleagues and antenatal contacts as well?
If you're not too sure who to invite, it's sometimes wise to ask around family and friends of the parents-to-be for ideas. If the baby shower is not a surprise, then it's perfectly acceptable to ask the expectant parents to provide a list of those they'd like to invite as well as contact details such as addresses and phone numbers.
Once you've sorted out the list, then it's wise to contact potential guests at least three to four weeks in advance of the baby shower so that they have plenty of time to prepare for the event!
Don't forget to include an RSVP and contact details for yourself on any invitations you send. It's wise to give potential guests a date by which to contact you so that you have an indication of who will be attending; this will allow you time to work out numbers for party food, seating and to arrange a venue that will be suitably sized for the baby shower!
