Miscarriage Poems - Rainbow Angel
Rainbow Angel
My Rainbow Angel,
I can't believe you are gone,
I love you so much,
I wish they were wrong.
I only knew you were there for six days,
But I prayed and I dreamed,
You'd stay with me always.
That immediate bond that I felt,
Was snatched away,
I hate this feeling of being crushed everyday.
That day I knew you were slipping away,
My heart broke in two.
My life shattered again,
'Cos I wouldn't get to meet you.
I'm trying to be strong,
To hide how I feel,
But my heart is broken again,
From something that will never heal.
It brings me some comfort to know,
My babies are together,
To look after and love each other,
For ever and ever.
I want you to know my Angel,
My darling rainbow baby,
I love you so very, very much,
You mean the world to me.
