Miscarriage Poems - Though We Never Got to Meet You...
The following beautiful and deeply moving miscarriage poem was sent to us by Leanne.
Though We Never Got to Meet You...
Though we never got to meet you,
Don't think that we don't care.
Though we never got to meet you,
Doesn't mean you weren't there.
The few weeks that you blessed us with,
Are a lifetime in our hearts,
We loved you more than life itself,
And now it's tearing us in parts.
Though we never got to meet you.
Don't think that we don't care.
Though we never got to meet you,
Doesn't mean you weren't there.
Your life with us was already in our plans,
Names, schools, aspirations, it all.
We'll never get to meet you,
Never hold you in our hands.
Though we never got to meet you.
Don't think that we don't care.
Though we never got to meet you,
Doesn't mean you weren't there.
This doesn't mean we'll forget you,
Far, far from that at all,
For mummy and daddy will always love you,
You're our gorgeous baby after all.
~ Leanne
