Miscarriage Poems - Today Is Your Day
Today Is Your Day
Today my sweet Angel is your day, a day you were due to be brought into my waiting arms.
I never got to hear your heart beat, never knew if you were a boy or girl, but in my heart and soul I truly believe you were meant to be my only girl.
Today is the one day that I mourn you, the day I talk to you and cry my heart out for you. The day I want to scream and beg Him to let you come home, home to me.
I’m sorry I can’t let you go, 9 years is a long time to miss you.
I don’t care if no one else understands that I need just this day every year for myself to go crazy, I’ll be back to normal, as normal as can be for your brothers after today is over.
