Miscarriage Poems - Unconditional Love
We received this beautiful and very touching miscarriage poem from a mother who shows how a whole family is affected by the loss of a baby through miscarriage.
Unconditional Love
I'll never get to see your face, or hold you when you cry.
I'll never hear you call me mum, and still I don't know why.
I can't sleep at night, I cannot rest, they told me that he takes the best.
They tell me we can try again, like losing you is not the end.
I know that we will carry on, keep smiling, always staying strong.
I know you will be resting, I know you hear me now.
Please watch over your brother, he really needs you now.
To understand our suffering, to hug us when we cry.
Remind us why we go on living, while you went on to fly.
We love him unconditionally, for you we feel the same.
As years pass by and memories fade, we'll love you just the same,
Though life is paved with many fears, and unexpected dangers.
As we go on we won't forget, we're parents of an angel.
We'll see the sun shine, feel the wind, and know that you're around.
We'll tell your brother you were here, you didn't make a sound.
We'll miss you now, and love you always, until we are together.
Then I can hold you in my arms, my precious baby, forever.
