Pregnancy Complications
There are a number of pregnancy complications that can strike during pregnancy. In most instances these problems are fairly easily managed and usually disappear once the baby is delivered. However, in some cases the complications can be serious and even life-threatening.
If you suspect you are suffering from any pregnancy complications you should mention it to your GP as you may require more careful monitoring for the remainder of your pregnancy or you may just need some general lifestyle or dietary advice.

- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Pre-eclampsia
- Placenta previa
- Cholestasis (itching during pregnancy)
- Hemorrhoids
- Backache
- Bleeding
- Constipation
- Indigestion
- Heartburn
- Morning sickness
- Varicose veins
- Stretch marks
- Anxiety
- Depression (pre-natal depression)
- Childbed fever (puerperal sepsis)
