What's all this about a Pregnant Man!
A pregnant man? Surely not!
Well the truth is, it isn't possible for a man to get pregnant. Although the media has recently made a big story out of the so-called pregnant man Thomas Beatie, the fact of the matter is that Thomas, although now legally recognized as male, was actually born female.
As a result she had a womb and ovaries, necessary requirements for pregnancy to happen.
In later years Thomas decided to have a sex change although opted to keep the womb and ovaries he was born with intact, meaning he could get pregnant given the right conditions. When the time came and his female partner was unable to have a child, Thomas stopped taking the testosterone drugs which were giving him his male characteristics and was then able to achieve pregnancy and carry a baby to full term. He gave birth naturally and his wife Susan cut the baby's umbilical cord.
He may well physically be a man, and certainly looked like a pregnant man but this was purely down to an his transgender operation and the artificial hormones he had taken to achieve this look.
In reality, there's no such thing as a pregnant man... yet!
