Whilst you may decide to try having a natural and drug-free birthing experience, and many women do just this, it is never a bad idea to prepare for medical intervention just in case you change your mind or an emergency occurs. Simply by making plans allowing for change, you will be able to maintain an element of control during the wonderful experience of bringing a child into the world.
