Incomplete Miscarriage
An incomplete miscarriage is often detected during a routine ultrasound scan. It refers to the fact that the cervix is open and unfortunately the baby has already been lost but not all of the pregnancy tissue has been expelled naturally.
Further medical treatment will be required to clear the remaining tissue from the uterus.
