Missed Miscarriage

A missed miscarriage refers to a miscarriage which which may have shown no symptoms at all when it first happened.

It will be discovered that the baby will have stopped growing some weeks previously. Often, after a period of time, some dark brown blood loss may be experienced and pregnancy symptoms will end suddenly. This type of miscarriage is usually only discovered during a routine antenatal ultrasound scan.
