Late Miscarriage
A late miscarriage is one that happens after the first trimester has passed. However, the majority of miscarriages occur during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
Miscarriages after the first trimester of pregnancy are not so common and if you are diagnosed as having a late miscarriage then you may be referred to a specialist to try to determine the reason for your loss.
