Types of Miscarriage
If your doctor suspects you may be having a miscarriage he will probably refer you to your local maternity unit for an ultrasound scan or an internal investigation. Depending on the results of your ultrasound scan or internal investigation, you may be told you are suffering from one of the following types of miscarriage.
Depending on which of the above apply you will be advised about what happens next and whether or not you need to have any further treatment.
