Threatened Miscarriage
A threatened miscarriage describes bleeding in early pregnancy. Any bleeding in pregnancy needs to be mentioned to your doctor immediately.
During a threatened miscarriage it will be discovered upon examination that the cervix is tightly closed. Fortunately, in most cases the pregnancy will probably continue. However, you will likely be advised to take things easy and perhaps have some bed rest.
